These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the leARn mobile application ("App") provided by leARn ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority, you may use the App only with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and such parent or guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf. If you are a parent or guardian using the App on behalf of a child under 13, you accept these Terms on your child's behalf and are responsible for their use of the App.

The App is distributed in Apple's "Made for Kids" category and complies with Apple's Kids Category guidelines, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The App is ad-free and does not include third-party behavioral advertising.
By default, the App runs in guest mode. A guest account is created automatically on first launch using a system-generated identifier, and no personal information is required to start using the App. Guest accounts can be converted into a full account (with a parent email address) after the first successful purchase, in order to enable receipt delivery, subscription restoration, and cross-device synchronization.

Before any purchase, account deletion, or navigation to external websites (other than the required legal pages, namely the Privacy Policy, these Terms, and the EULA), the App presents a parental gate that requires a four-digit birth year. Access is granted only when the verified age is 13 or older. The gate is requested on each trigger with no grace period. Access to the App's settings screen is additionally protected by a simple arithmetic question designed to be solved by adults.
The App offers limited free content. A premium subscription unlocks unlimited access to all features and content in the App, including all learning modules, AR content, AI-generated stories, advanced games, and cloud synchronization.
Premium subscriptions are offered as auto-renewing in-app purchases in the following durations:
The exact price of each plan, including price per unit (per week, per month, or per year where appropriate), is displayed in the App's purchase screen in your local currency as provided by the App Store or Google Play.
If a free trial or promotional offer is provided, it will be disclosed in the App's purchase screen. The trial automatically converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled at least 24 hours beforehand. Unused portions of a trial are forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their respective refund policies. Please contact the relevant app store for refund inquiries. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence, including the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal granted to consumers in the European Union and the Republic of Turkey.
If you reinstall the App or use it on another device signed in with the same Apple ID or Google Play account, you can restore your active subscription using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.

All content, features, and functionality of the App - including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, 3D models, animations, audio, software, and AR experiences - are owned by leARn or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.
The App may allow users to create content such as drawings, stories (through AI prompts), and other creative works. You retain ownership of any original content you create. By creating content within the App, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display that content within the App for your personal use.
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate stories and educational content. AI-generated content is provided "as is" for educational and entertainment purposes. While we implement safety filters to ensure content is age-appropriate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. Prompts sent to AI providers do not contain personal or identifying information.
You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time directly from within the App (Settings → Delete Account), after passing the parental gate. Upon confirmation, your account, child profiles, learning progress, subscription identifiers, and server-side personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Local tokens and preferences on the device are cleared immediately. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription - you must separately cancel the subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. leARn is designed to be safe for children. We do not display advertisements, do not engage in behavioral or contextual advertising, and do not use third-party analytics to track or profile children. Analytics is configured in a Kids-compliant mode as described in our Privacy Policy. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the App and for managing subscriptions and in-app purchases through their App Store or Google Play account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, leARn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless leARn, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account (see Section 9) and uninstalling the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This choice of law does not deprive you of any non-waivable consumer protections granted by the laws of your country of residence.
